yho9 - ... a restoration

The ninth edition of YHO borrowed Neville’s Brody’s design for the 8 Eyed Spy LP on Fetish Records to use on the front cover.  There was something of a literary theme in this issue with mentions of Barry Gifford, J.L. Carr, Margot Bennett, Iain Sinclair, Graham Greene, Nick Tosches, and Suze Rotolo’s memoir A Freewheelin’ Time.  There are also some lovely words used along the way like revenant and revendication, with a reference to an old edition of The Concise Oxford Dictionary.  I asked: “Who decides what words are worth? Who chooses which words can be forgotten?”
